How do you make a proper design with so few plants available?

I'm having trouble making my design realistic since plants like climbing roses, bleeding hearts, encore azaleas, and many of my other foundation plants are not available in this program. Have others found ways to still use the program effectively? I'm trying workarounds, but they seldom have the color or seasonality attributes of the plants in my garden.
